After installing the exchange 2013 CU7 updates, am receiving error message below when trying to sent emails from OWA.   all emails sent from outlook clients are working fine.  have tried different mailboxes on different mail stores still the same error only when trying to sent out emails using owa.

the exchange 2013 Standard application has been installed on a hyper-v windows 2012 r2 with all windows updates installed inc Feb 10 2015 updates.

From your description, I would like to verify if there is a ADRMS integration with Exchange server. Sometimes, ADRMS integration with Exchange can leads to OWA issue. If yes, you can follow the steps below to reset the DRM and check the result.

1. Disable IRM, using Set-IRMConfiguration -InternalLicensingEnabled $false cmdlet.
2. Remove existing RMS certificates: Delete all the directories under "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\DRM\Server" on the mailbox servers.
3. Reboot the Exchange servers.
4. Enable IRM, using the Set-IRMConfiguration -InternalLicensingEnabled $true cmdlet.

the C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\DRM\ folder is empty.  also I have not installed ADRMS integration with Exchange server.

any other suggestions?
